glider is a complex sound sculpture recording that was created as a tribute to Brian Eno's groundbreaking 1978 album "Music for Airports".
While keeping in the tradition of "Music for Airports", frozen plastic created glider from a few simple notes and the serial organization of variable loops that don't match up. This technique leads to an elaboration on the aural/spatial dimension that utilizes silence, piano, synthesizer and voices.
The music is divided into three distinct movements. The motifs are as simple and understated as they can get, yet they still carry this album to complete relaxation. These ambient-minimalist soundscapes can be alternately described as a background of abstract texturals patterns.
glider is perfectly sublime as a quiet layer of background music. Turn off the lights and glide your way into Annwfn.
