Jett's choice of sounds are, as always, unique and original. The collection kicks off as 'Britney Spears is on Fire' is an up-tempo poppy song with that experimental edge. The next two tracks are of the same ilk with topical references to the global warming effects on the automotive joyrider in 'Transit Monster, Earthday 2012' and a rear view mirror view from the backseat of life in 'It's All Been Said Before' . The album leans towards ambient IDM soundscapes and dreamy atmospheres, starting with the care-free, playful 'Wii Dream of You' which is simple and effective, a catchy homage of a video game that dreams of being human. Honestly, no-one could dislike this track. Now for an all-time favorite Jett Farly track 'A Second Too Late' a most beautiful, jangly and serene tune with liquid Bass sounds, floaty keyboards, distorted guitar playing and Jett's mild-mannered vocals sung to perfection. There are more gems on this CD, it is a must listen for fans of distorted dream pop and alternative rock.
