"The usage of distressed elements in audio design is nothing new, and perhaps the
golden age of textured music design has passed. All this really means is that
the gratuitous and meaningless usage of texture in song is no longer
accepted and that projects using it more deliberately will only do so more effectively."
--- J. Farley
Working with electronic composer/producer Jeff Farley has helped the band refine its trashy guitar rock and experimental tendencies, helping to drag their low-fi aesthetic into the 21st century.
This collection of songs is partially inspired by France's finest expatriot novelist, Michel Houellebecq's PLATFORM.
The band has appeared live and on compilations with The Mountain Goats, Beck, the Devics, Sonic Youth and many others.
